This stunning prefab home was put together in Weybridge, Surrey after being carefully designed to take advantage of the beautifully tranquil riverside plot.

The architects made use of the natural scenery surrounding the plot when designing this home. They were able to incorporate a raised terrace that offers a gorgeous view of the river and countryside beyond.

Designing the luxury prefab home

The exterior successfully blends the traditional and modern styles. Using timber cladding, brick and white wall to create a warm aesthetic appearance.

“Building on a plot at the foot of the River Thames was an extraordinary challenge from the very beginning. This is because the extremely narrow access alone required meticulous planning and close coordination between all project partners.

“Thanks to the outstanding teamwork on site, we were able to turn these constraints into a real success and deliver a truly beautiful home

“The homeowners had very high expectations and a clear vision: a generous yet highly personal home for two. Set on a large, stunning plot with immaculately kept lawns, the house is defined by openness, light and space. Additionally, the open-plan living and dining area features a dramatic double-height ceiling of almost six metres. This is complemented by a gallery and expansive glass façades that connect the interior with the surrounding landscape.

Each partner has their own private retreat, with an individual bedroom and bathroom. This ensures the shared spaces feel open and welcoming. Additional highlights include a wellness area with a swimming pool in the basement and a home office on the upper floor. Despite the demanding site conditions, the result is a spacious, elegant home that perfectly reflects the lifestyle and aspirations of its owners.”
