Composite decking is hardwearing and long-lasting. Hoppings SmartBoard also has a natural timber look and feel that makes it a highly attractive option for all garden styles.

As soon as you set foot on the new SmartBoard composite decking from Hoppings the difference is clear. A solid, high-density material with a reversible smooth or ribbed profile, SmartBoard is low-maintenance and easy to clean.

Although it has the natural beauty of real wood, the boards do not suffer from the issues normally associated with timber decking and are low-slip, splinter-free and do not require refinishing or painting during their long lifetime. It has a deep brushed matt finish that is similar in appearance to pre-finished hardwood decking, and comes with a 25-year warranty against decay and splitting.

Made from a combination of 90 per cent recycled hard plastic, wood residues and various pigments and fillers, it is highly sustainable an environmentally friendly. Available in 3.6m lengths, the boards are easy to work with and can be screw-fixed in the same way as timber decking, with no need for secret-fx clips or plastic or metal fascia trims that some composite systems require.

Hoppings SmartBoard comes in a choice of three attractive colourways – Battleship Grey, Chocolate Brown and Slate – and is available from a network of UK independent retailers.
