The event offers visitors an opportunity to see all the latest trends for the home and gain a wealth of expert advice. Hosted by self-build and design guru Kevin McCloud, the event is packed with more than 400 exhibitors, providing ideas and inspiration for your very own Grand Design, whether big or small.

Under the Stairs Project
The Under the Stairs Project is a new interiors feature that will see eight interior designers showcase bespoke installations, using the space under the stairs. Visitors will be given the opportunity to browse and pick up inspirations for their own mini grand designs.

Design and Build Forum
The Design and Build Forum at Grand Designs Live Birmingham hosted an array of industry experts ready to advise you on various aspects of your home project.
Each day of the forum is themed, providing dedicated advice for every aspect of your renovation or build. Keep an eye on the schedule of talks.
Green Finger Campaign
In line with charity partner Friends of the Earth, Grand Designs Live launches the Green Finger Campaign for the first time at the Birmingham event. A wildlife forest will be created in the venue showing visitors how and where to construct wildlife-friendly environments.
Visitors will be invited to take regional specific wildflower seeds away with them to plant and create their own wildlife-friendly environment; then print their fingerprint on a map of the UK to indicate where they live, producing a visual and interactive heat map of where people are supporting the cause.
