This ensuite bathroom uses a partial Crittall screen to form wet and dry zones, creating a beautiful design feature in the process.

The minimal, streamlined interior style of this ensuite bathroom created by Katie McCrum is definitely something to love about the space, but perhaps even more intriguing is how the interior designer has demarcated the space to create separate wet and dry zones.

One of the challenges when designing a bathroom is that the elements used are largely confined to using around the edge of the room for purposes of plumbing, but this clever part wall, part Crittall screen opens up the space to a more diverse, useable layout without sacrificing any of the major components on the client's wishlist, such as double basin vanity units.

Enclosed wetroom

Behind the Crittall screen, the designer has created a wetroom set-up which houses a freestanding bath, wall-mounted bath filler and handheld shower. By zoning the space, this area of the bathroom is more intimate, so the perfect spot in which to take a relaxing bath.

Not to compromise on functionality, the wetroom also features a shower on the wall. This cleverly gives the wetroom a smaller than average shower footprint, where a shower tray would usually be required.

Character brassware

With white marble tiles and chalky, plastered walls creating a serene backdrop, the character and warmth is introduced by statement brassware in Tarnished Brass by The Watermark Collection. The bathroom features the Urbane range - including the Cooper basin set and bath set, the Deluge shower head and wall mounted towel bars.
