Grand Designs Live, sponsored by Anglian Home Improvements, returns to London's Excel on 5th - 13th May 2018. The show offers an opportunity to see all the latest trends for the home and gain a wealth of expert advice. Hosted by self-build and design guru Kevin McCloud, the event is packed with more than 500 exhibitors, providing ideas and inspiration for your very own Grand Design, whether big or small.

Planning a self-build project? Running everyday of the show, why not hear from the people who have done it before, as well as a panel of our resident experts for dynamic Q&A sessions covering everything from finance to planning.

Meet Joe and Lina, a young couple who couldn’t afford to buy in London so snapped up a tiny 38sqm plot and built two-bedroom house near Canary Wharf, and also the architects behind the Grand Designs House of the Year 2017.

Bring home new ideas and information, as well as helpful supplier contacts at the interiors, focussed Interior Room Sets and Studio area. 

The interior stylists bring their ideas and designs to life by using colour, materials, light and patterns to achieve the looks.

The spring show we have room sets themed around Victoria, Game of Thrones, Only Fools and Horses, Blackadder, Homes By the Sea and Breaking Bad.

The Lavatory Project

Be inspired by The Lavatory Project. Located in the Kitchens and Bathrooms hall, eight designers have been challenged by Grand Designs to create quirky schemes for the smallest room in the house - the downstairs loo.

Situated in the show's Interiors section, Architectural Salvage, partnered with Salvo Web, is a new and exciting feature for 2018.
